Hyde Family Jam approached me ahead of their upcoming album launch, looking for a bold new set of promotional images. They needed shots for the album campaign as well as a versatile library of content for their website and social media.
After scouting location options, we teamed up with Brew York, whose 'Handley Tap' venue – also the site of the upcoming launch – proved the perfect backdrop. With its industrial charm, beer barrels, open floor, and mix of performance space and cosy corners, it matched the band’s energetic, unpolished aesthetic.
Hyde are a raucous skiffle-punk party band with a big personality, and the shoot was all about capturing that energy; candid, loud, and full of life.
